Ian Wright has taken to Twitter to react after discovering UEFA’s verdict on the incident between Glen Kamara and Ondřej Kúdela.
The Slavia Prague defender has been handed a 10-game ban, while the 25-year-old Rangers man has also been banned, but for three games.
After hearing UEFA’s soft punishment for Kúdela, Wright reacted on Twitter.
You can see what the BBC pundit wrote below.
We couldn’t have said it better ourselves.
Ten games isn’t enough. It’s not anywhere near enough.
Should he have been banned for half a season, then perhaps Kúdela might think twice about racially abusing someone else next time.
However, he probably feels he’s got off lightly – in truth, he has.

Wright is, well, right. UEFA often champion their ‘Say No To Racism’ campaign, only to bottle it when they have an actual chance to make a stand.
Kieran Tripper received a longer ban for breaching gambling rules – how absurd is that?

Also, for Kamara to receive a ban, having done nothing but stand up for himself, is downright ludicrous.
The Finland international has done nothing wrong, and it’s a great shame that he will now miss some Champions League action next season.
Rangers should certainly appeal UEFA’s weak decision.
