Leeds United target Emi Martinez has threatened to leave Arsenal unless he’s given more game time next season, in his comments to Continental 590.
The Sun claim that Leeds want the Argentine, as Marcelo Bielsa’s side prepare for the Premier League again.
Martinez has seriously impressed in goal for Arsenal in recent weeks, but there are no guarantees over his long-term future in Mikel Arteta’s starting line-up.
Martinez has only been filling in for Bernd Leno, who has been injured, and he could return to the bench once the German is fit.
That would be a blow to Martinez, and if that it Arteta’s plan, then Leeds could just have been offered hope in their chase of the goalkeeper.
“I showed that I can play, I need to play more games next season,” Martinez said.

“I want to establish myself at Arsenal and become first choice. If I don’t play, I’m going to move, I’m going to go where I play more.”
If Martinez was to join Leeds then it seems likely that he would be a regular starter with Marcelo Bielsa’s side.
Illan Meslier has penned a permanent deal with Leeds, but he is inexperienced at the top level, and Martinez would surely be immediately put into Bielsa’s starting line-up.
