David Seaman has given his prediction about whether Liverpool or Tottenham Hotspur will come out on top in Sunday’s much-awaited clash.

As the victor of the clash could perhaps be best-placed to challenge for a top four spot, Jurgen Klopp’s men find themselves just a point behind Ryan Mason’s side with one game in hand.

David Seaman has made his prediction ahead of the contest between Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur at Anfield.

David Seaman makes Liverpool vs Tottenham prediction

The last time these two sides faced each other was at Spurs’ stadium, the Reds emerged victorious in a 2-1 victory.

What makes life even tougher for Ryan Mason and Co. on the road is that they are yet to have won at Anfield since May 2011.

David Seaman seems to heavily favour Liverpool as well on the basis of all the evidence at hand, backing them to wreak havoc against Tottenham in his prediction for the game.

“My question is how many Spurs fans are actually going to travel up there after the Newcastle debacle! I’m going to go 4-1 Liverpool, you can’t turn it around like that”, he said on the Seaman Says podcast.

“And with Ryan Mason coming in, you aren’t exactly going to get a big bounce from a new manager there, as he’s been there already, very similar to when they had the coach come in who has just been fired.”

HITC View: This could end up being the game of the season

If the match goes as per the prediction made by David Seaman, Liverpool will have sent out a statement to the rest of the league for next season after annihilating Tottenham.

Regardless, with both teams having a list of flaws and it being a high-stakes affair, this could end up being an end-to-end affair.

To put pressure on Manchester United, three points remain key for both sides, who will be expected not to hold back on Sunday.
