Some Everton fans on social media have been reacting on social media after the club posted footage of Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Seamus Coleman doing some individual training work.
The pair have been out of action for a number of weeks now, and it seems as though they’re slowly but surely getting back to full fitness.
Luckily for Everton, their form hasn’t dipped too much during this period. They’re only one point off the top of the Premier League, and yet, there’s still the feeling that they could kick on once they have their captain and their star striker back.
Calvert-Lewin is undoubtedly one of the best number nines in the Premier League, and he’s already got three league goals this season, while Coleman is such a consistent performer and the club’s captain.
Everton have been brilliant so far this season under Rafa Benitez, and the fact that they’ve managed to sustain a top-four challenge without two of their best players is remarkable.
Fortunately, Calvert-Lewin and Coleman could be back soon, and fans are buzzing after seeing this footage.
