Some Liverpool fans on social media have been reacting to the news that Fabinho is out of action once again with a muscle injury.
Nobody needs reminding about the problems Liverpool have had with injuries in recent months, and once again, it is a man who can play centre-back that has been plagued with an issue.
Fabinho is now set to miss the Leicester game, after Klopp confirmed he has a muscle issue in his pre-match press conference.
What this means for Liverpool’s XI this weekend remains to be seen, but after signing Ozan Kabak and Ben Davies on deadline day, the Reds are in a stronger position to navigate an injury this time around.
However, not many Liverpool supporters have taken solace in that fact, and as you can imagine, there has been a fair bit of pessimism on social media after this revelation.
Fans are once again gutted, and we absolutely understand why. Week after week the Reds’ star players are being struck down by injury, and it’s costing them dearly on the pitch.
We can only hope that Fabinho is back sooner rather than later.
