Arsenal fans have reacted on Twitter to rumours that Alexis Sanchez could be heading to Barcelona.
The 32-year-old is currently on the books of Inter Milan after helping the club win the Serie A title last season.
But he recently scored his first goal in several months and could now be heading to the Nou Camp.
Goal have reported that following Sergio Aguero’s retirement for ‘health’ reasons, they have eyed the former Arsenal and Manchester United man as his replacement.
When Sanchez first came to the Premier League, he stepped foot on the north London turf via Catalonia after impressing under Pep Guardiola.
And now the Arsenal faithful have offered a mixed reaction to him possibly heading back to the club where he thrived.
Even though Sanchez is towards the end of his career and nowhere near the player he was at the Emirates, this is some story.
Club legend Xavi is now in charge of the financially-stricken stride, who recently rolled back the years by bringing Dani Alves back to their shores.
Perhaps Inesita is next, or Ronaldinho might fancy putting his boots on or even Xavi himself.
Either way, if a deal does go through, then it will be interesting to see how Sanchez fairs in La Liga once more.
Whilst he did win the Serie A title last season, since he decided to leave Arsenal for Manchester United, his career has gone downhill.
But now he has the chance to live one last dance and try and get Barcelona back on their feet.
