Jermaine Beckford has suggested that he wants a role at Leeds United.
In a Twitter question and answer session, Beckford said that he was at Elland Road now, trying to negotiate a deal to get back on the Leeds’ club staff.
In what capacity that would be remains to be seen, but Beckford could be a good ambassador for the Whites.
The 36-year-old remains a Leeds favourite, after his four year stay at the club between 2006 and 2010.
During his time at Elland Road, the striker bagged 85 goals in 152 appearances across all competitions.
Beckford says the biggest regret of his career is now leaving Leeds, as he never went on to have the same success as he did at Elland Road elsewhere.
Beckford went on to play for the likes of Everton, Leicester City, Bolton Wanderers and Preston North End, but was never as prolific as he was in a Leeds shirt.
Beckford has been working as a pundit for Sky recently, and regularly covers Leeds games.
