Arsenal midfielder Dani Ceballos says that he is ‘almost there’ as he aims to comeback from injury.

Ceballos was not fit enough to feature for Arsenal against Southampton in the FA Cup at the weekend.

However, the Spaniard was in training in the snow yesterday.

And Ceballos has hinted that his return for Arsenal is not far away.

Arsenal have kept details of Ceballos’s injury fairly quiet, but the news that he should be available soon is a boost.

Ceballos may only have a rotational role to play for Mikel Arteta’s side until the end of the season, with Thomas Partey now fighting fit, but he adds further depth to their midfield options when available.

If Ceballos is close to a return then tomorrow’s game against Southampton may come too soon for him, but he could yet be included to in their squad to face off against Manchester United at the weekend.
