Speaking in his pre-match press conference, Jurgen Klopp has delivered bad news on the injury front ahead of Liverpool’s clash with Fulham on Sunday.

The Reds have had all sorts of injury issues in recent weeks, and it seems as though their issues aren’t going to be alleviated anytime soon, as Klopp announced that none of the Reds’ current injured stars will be back for the game against Fulham.

Unfortunately, there are a couple of fresh updates with the German confirming that Kostas Tsimakis and Diogo Jota are doubts for the Reds’ trip to Craven Cottage.

“Kostas and Diogo we have to see, he got a knock as well,” Klopp said.

“Nobody else is coming back I’m afraid,” the manager added.

This is a real blow for Liverpool as Jota has been one of the stars of their season so far, but the quality of their squad means that they shouldn’t miss him too much.

Roberto Firmino will be just as good as the 24-year-old in that front three, while Andy Robertson is the first-choice left-back in any case, so Tsimakis shouldn’t be missed too much.

Liverpool are undoubtedly leagues ahead of Fulham at the moment, so a few injuries aren’t going to be the end of the world for this fixture.

Unfortunately, this is even more bad injury news in what has been a dire season for the Reds on that front.
