Some Liverpool fans have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to manager Jurgen Klopp’s comments on Jordan Henderson after the match against Everton at Anfield.

Liverpool suffered a 2-0 defeat to Everton at home in the Merseyside derby on Saturday evening.

Richarlison put the Toffees in the lead after just three minutes, and Gylfi Sigurdsson scored from the penalty spot in the 83rd minute to help his side pick up all three points from the Premier League game.

Liverpool have been adversely affected by injuries this season, with defenders Virgil van Dijk, Joe Gomes and Joel Matip all on the sidelines.

The situation is so dire that midfielder Henderson has been playing in defence, like he did against Everton.

However, the England international midfielder picked up an injury after just 30 minutes and had to be substituted.

Following the match, Liverpool manager Klopp praised Henderson for his performance in the opening 30 minutes, but he also expressed his concerns about his injury.

Klopp told Liverpool’s official website: “We have options, of course, but how difficult it makes it… it makes it really difficult. But, for example, Nat was for sure not for one second our problem and even Hendo in the beginning of the game was really dominant, especially offensively. So, yes, it is a massive blow losing Hendo again. Massive.”

The Liverpool boss added: “It’s the groin/adductor region and nobody in the medical department was positive about it. It doesn’t look good, but we have to wait, of course, for the scan tomorrow, hopefully.”

Some Liverpool fans are hugely disappointed after yet another injury blow and have expressed their frustrations on Twitter.
