Speaking on the Official Leeds United Podcast, Jermaine Beckford has been waxing-lyrical about Jack Harrison.

The United winger has been making headlines in recent weeks after a string of good performances, and he’s even been touted for a spot in the England squad.

Harrison was again brilliant against Southampton on Tuesday, and Beckford was seemingly a big fan of what he saw from the winger.

“Jack Harrison’s touch to bring that down and cut inside was sublime as well.” The podcast’s host said.

“He’s been brilliant at that, staying out wide and always on the touchline. His first-touch is always brilliant as well. I’m a big fan of his,” Beckford said.

The former Leeds striker certainly isn’t wrong about Harrison.

The left-footer seems to have come on leaps and bounds technically, and while his goal tally is mightily impressive, his all-round play is sublime.

His first-touch isn’t spoken about often enough, but he’s right up there with the best players in the league when it comes to bringing a ball under his spell.

Leeds, of course, have the option to make Harrison’s loan a permanent move at the end of the season, and it seems incredibly likely that they will activate that clause at in the summer.

Fingers crossed Harrison can keep this form up, especially if he’s called up to the England squad.
