Some Leeds United fans have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to the performance of Patrick Bamford against Blackburn Rovers on Saturday afternoon.

Bamford was in action for Leeds in their Championship game against Blackburn away from home at Ewood Park.

The former Chelsea and Nottingham Forest striker played well for the Whites and also scored, as the visiting team won with ease.

According to WhoScored, against Blackburn on Saturday afternoon, Bamford took four shots of which one was on target and ended in goal, had a pass accuracy of 56.3%, won one header, took 32 touches, and made two tackles and one interception.

So far this season, the striker has scored 14 goals and provided two assists in the Championship for Leeds, according to WhoScored.

Some Leeds fans were impressed with the display produced by Bamford and have praised him on Twitter.

Below are some of the best comments:

Automatic promotion?

Leeds are at the top of the Championship table at the moment with 78 points from 41 matches.

The Whites are just five games away from ascertaining their place in the Premier League for the 2020-21 campaign.

True, Marcelo Bielsa’s side collapsed in the final weeks of last season, but things seem different this time around.

It must be very exciting for Leeds fans at the moment, and they should remain optimistic and confident about getting promoted.
