Yannick Bolasie has posted on Twitter that he will ‘never understand’ how Arsenal are selling Matteo Guendouzi for as little as £8.5 million.
Fabrizio Romano posted on Twitter that the French midfielder is set to join Marseille on a permeant basis, after his loan spell at the club last season.
During Arteta’s first season in charge of Arsenal, he fell out with Guendouzi after the Gunners were beaten by a last-minute Neal Maupay goal against Brighton during project restart.

Since then, the 23-year-old has been on-loan at German side Hertha Berlin and now Marseille, as well as making his debut for France.
Former Everton winger, Bolasie, stated that you can see the midfielder’s ability ‘every time he plays’, as he expressed his shock at the London club letting him go.
ARSENAL MAY RUE THE CALL TO LET GUENDOUZI GO
The issue facing Arsenal, and especially Arteta, is that it’s not exactly all rosy in their garden.
There has been progression from the last campaign, in regards to getting back into Europe, the young squad coming through and the defence improving.
But more added quality is needed and someone like Guendouzi is what Arsenal need in their midfield.
So, come next season, if the Gunners struggle under Arteta, then the obvious of certain players being sold or let go, will be thrown back in the face of their manager.
Either way, the former Manchester City coach is at a stage where he now has to get the club back into the Champions League, or else he won’t be in the Emirates dugout for much longer.
