Lingard and Jones have slipped further and further down the pecking order at Old Trafford, which has led to West Ham believing they could become available.
And it seems that Manchester United fans would be happy to see them leave this summer.
If Jones and Lingard were to sign for West Ham then they would arrive with a point to prove.
The England internationals have not hit their top form for a long time now, and their confidence may have been knocked by their lack of game time recently.
If West Ham are to complete the double swoop they will surely need to stay in the Premier League this season.
