Everton defender Luke Garbutt has confirmed to the East Anglian Daily Times that he will be leaving Goodison Park this summer.
Garbutt’s contract at Everton is due to expire in the summer and, despite a strong season in League One with Ipswich Town, it seems that Carlo Ancelotti will let him go.
Garbutt is now looking to move to the highest level, as he looks to start his career away from Everton.
“My contract at Everton is up on June 30 and I’ll be looking for a new club,” he said.
“The loan at Ipswich has been great for me and the fans have been brilliant. My agent will have discussions with Ipswich and multiple other clubs, probably, and we’ll assess it from there.”

Garbutt broke through Everton’s academy and there were high hopes for him as a youngster, but he never quite made the grade at Goodison.
Garbutt has not played in Everton’s first-team for five years now, and has been sent on a series of loan spells.
The 27-year-old did impress at Ipswich on his last temporary move away, but whether the Tractor Boys will be able to finance a permanent move remains to be seen.
Ipswich had a disappointing season in League One this term, where they could only claim a mid-table place.
