Speaking to the club’s official YouTube channel, Manchester City midfielder Ilkay Gundogan has described Arsenal star Mesut Ozil as a great player.
The German midfielder has started this season in sensational form, with seven goals and three assists in the Premier League and Champions League to his name.
He showed his quality on Tuesday evening when he scored a superb solo goal to secure a 3-2 win over Ludogorets away in Bulgaria.

His form has earned raved reviews from fans and pundits alike, who have been quick to praise his continued impressive displays.
One man who is a big fan is compatriot Gundogan, who praised the midfielder when asked to name his perfect footballer.
“He’s [Mesut Ozil] a great player. He’s so intelligent on the field,” he told the club’s official YouTube channel.
“His movement on the field and his assists – he’s quite famous for his assists. He’s an incredible player.”

Arsenal will be hoping that Ozil can maintain his current form for the remainder of the season as they look to compete on all fronts.
His performances have already been key to them sitting level on points at the top of the Premier League alongside Liverpool and Manchester City and in their Champions League with Paris Saint-Germain.
As usual, he has been key to all that they have done well and the Gunners will be keen to see more of the same as they look to end this year with at least one trophy.
