Everton have completed another key signing as Sean Dyche’s side attempt to rebuild after narrowly avoiding relegation.
Sean Dyche’s Everton were, at times, flirting with the possibility of relegation from the Premier League following points deductions due to the financial predicament that the club had got themselves in.
Under the former Burnley boss, however, the Toffees avoided relegation to hold onto their status as a Premier League club, which they have done since the league’s inception in 1992.
The Toffees have been busy so far with the acquisitions of Tim Iroegbunam from Aston Villa as well as the addition of Leeds United winger Jack Harrison.

Everton confirm another summer addition
The Toffees have now announced another signing as they completed a deal to sign winger Iliman Ndiaye from French side Marseille.
Ndiaye, the Senegalese international, has penned a five-year deal at Goodison Park and that will keep him on Merseyside until 2029.
In an interview with Everton’s media channel, Ndiaye has explained his reasoning behind leaving the French giants for a move to Merseyside.
“I am so pleased to be an Everton player,” he said. “The main reasons I wanted to join were how big the club is, its history and the part I can play in helping the team in the forward direction it is going in. I’m so excited and can’t wait to get going.
“Kevin [Thelwell] and the manager both spoke to me and made me feel wanted. My Senegal teammate Idrissa also played a part and spoke highly of the club and a lot of good things.
“As a player, I like to dribble, show skills and get the fans out their seats. I want to score goals and get assists but I also like to work hard. I love running, chasing the ball, getting the team high up the pitch. As a striker, you’re the first defender. I love doing that bit.”
Ndiaye could be a key signing for the Toffees
Ndiaye was key during his time at Sheffield United before moving to Marseille last summer and the Senegal international was always keen on a move to England.
Former Blades manager Paul Heckingbottom was once full of praise for the winger and hailed one key aspect of the winger’s performance that gives a key insight into why Dyche signed him.
“I thought he performed really well. On the ball, obviously with the goal he scored because that was excellent. But also off it. His work rate was top class, really top drawer,” Heckingbottom told the Sheffield Star in 2022.
