Loris Karius was in action for Liverpool against Borussia Dortmund on Sunday.

FC Porto goalkeeper Iker Casillas has launched a strong defence of Liverpool custodian Loris Karius on social networking site Twitter.
Karius was in action for Liverpool in their pre-season friendly match against Bundesliga outfit Borussia Dortmund on Sunday.
The 25-year-old goalkeeper did not have a great game, as the Premier League club lost 3-1 to Dortmund.
The former Germany Under-21 international was responsible for the German side’s third and final goal.
Karius was also shaky at the start of the match, and many Liverpool fans on Twitter have strongly criticised the former Mainz goalkeeper, who made quite a few mistakes last season, including two in the final of the Champions League against Spanish and European giants Real Madrid.

Porto goalkeeper Casillas has strongly defended Karius on Twitter and have urged people not to be too harsh on the 25-year-old.
The 37-year-old legendary goalkeeper – who won La Liga five times and the Champions League thrice with Madrid and the 2010 World Cup and Euro 2008 and Euro 2012 with Spain – has made a very strong post on Twitter.
Casillas wrote, as translated from Spanish: “Will this attack on @LorisKarius ever end? I’m talking about him like so many other goalkeepers.
“There are many more serious problems in the world. F***! Leave the kid alone! He’s also a person. As we all are!”
