Michael Owen has made it clear that if the Leeds United player ‘respect’ their manager, then they will buy into whatever he does or says, as he told Premier League Productions (05/03/22 at 8:50 pm).
In Marsch’s first game in charge, the American decided to form a huddle out on the pitch following their defeat to Leicester.
He could be seen rallying his troops on the King Power pitch, after a game that saw Leeds leave empty-handed, despite a number of encouraging signs.
But given that Leeds lost, a lot was said about Marsch’s call to form a huddle after the game.
Former England striker, Owen, suggested that he had no issue with it and he is simply just leading from the front.
“Each to their own,” said Owen. “It’s a team game and the manager wants to do that.
“If you have got respect for your manager, then you will buy into whatever they say to you.
“You want somebody to lead from the front. And that’s what he wants to do.”

From a defensive aspect, Leeds have looked all over the shop for far too long now and it has been very damaging to their morale.
Not only were they conceding goals for fun, but they would constantly find that they have conceded three goals before they could go into the break.
There were improvements against Leicester, in the sense that they haven’t faced as many shots in a game since October.
Either way, the next stop is facing Aston Villa, who they recorded a 3-3 draw against last month.
