The Championship returns this weekend after the international break and one of the biggest fixtures is a Midlands derby that sees Wolverhampton Wanderers host Aston Villa.
These two teams were both tipped for big things this season and Wolves have lived up to that and after 11 games are currently second, while after a shaky start Villa have discovered their own good form and are up to seventh following four straight wins.

However, there are still some who are yet to be truly convinced that Nuno Espirito Santo’s side are genuine title contenders – but victory in this match could silence many of those doubters.
While Wanderers started the campaign well with triumphs over potentially strong opposition in Middlesbrough at home and then Derby County and Hull City away, when faced with teams from the current top six they have struggled.

Leaders Cardiff City beat them 2-1 at Molineux, while third-placed Sheffield United were 2-0 victors at Bramall Lane and fourth-placed Bristol City held them to a 3-3 draw at home.
Now they face a Villans outfit on the rise, buoyed by the confidence of commanding performances over the past few weeks, so if they can halt their rivals with three points and potentially move to the top as a result, it will lay down a serious marker for the rest of 2017/18.
