West Ham United are reportedly eyeing Swansea City ace.
The Hammers are one of several teams keen on the Polish goalkeeper who has just been relegated with Swansea City.
If West Ham do secure his signature, then it is time for Adrian to up and walk away from the club.
Adrian battled this season with Joe Hart, ultimately winning the contest with the on loan goalkeeper to be the club’s number one.
But he also sat on the sidelines for half the campaign, and having proven to be their best option, he should be insulted if West Ham’s next move is to make him compete once again.
The Guardian‘s report claims Fabianski wants to be a number one, which means if West Ham sign him, it will be with a promise that he has a strong chance of being the club’s first choice goalkeeper.
Fabianski will be sterner competition than Hart because he is a goalkeeper who is improving with age rather than declining like the recent loanee.
That is not to say Adrian will not be able to see him off, but at this stage he should not have to, and if West Ham are not prepared to back him to be number one, then it is time for him to pack his bags and find a new club.
