
Tottenham Hotspur fans are excited at the prospect that training could resume in the next 48 hours after their COVID outbreak.
The Daily Mail have reported that there is hope training can commence at Hotspur Way after Tottenham’s games against Rennes and Brighton were recently postponed.
A COVID outbreak at the club has caused havoc and resulted in parts of the training ground being shut.
Plus, players and staff, or those who have tested positive, have to stay at home as Spurs try to deal with the issue.
Tottenham’s next two games are against Leicester City on Thursday, before they face-off against Liverpool next Sunday on home soil.
Spurs fans want their players back on the training pitch as soon as possible because they don’t want to go into that Liverpool match undercooked.
Even on a good day, it’s difficult facing Jurgen Klopp’s men, but with very little match or training practise, it could cause issues.
But it seems as though the good news is starting to filter through and the club can get going once more.
Antonio Conte really has hit work cut out because Spurs are already one game behind after their clash at Burnley was postponed because of the snow.
And now they are in the middle of the schedule-packed festive period, whilst also trying to play catch up from their postponed matches.
