Some Leeds United fans on social media have been reacting after they were once again linked with a move for Cagliari’s Nahitan Nandez.
What’s the story with Nandez?
According to TuttoMercatoWeb, Leeds could soon table a bid for Nandez.
The Uruguayan has been linked to Leeds for years at this point, going all the way back to 2019 when the Whites were in the Championship.
Marcelo Bielsa is clearly an admirer of the South American, and the Whites may not get a better chance to sign him.
Indeed, Nandez’s valuation has declined since August, and he’s now reportedly available for €20m (£16.6m).
Good deal
Signing Nandez for £16.6m would seemingly be quite a good deal for Leeds.
The Whites are desperate for some more cover in the midfield, and Nandez is a fully-fledged international with one of the best national teams in the world.
Bielsa seemingly believes Nandez would be a good fit for his side. After all, he’s been chasing him for almost three years at this point, and now that he’s been made available for a cheaper fee, Leeds could land a bargain.
