Julian Nagelsmann is reportedly keen on becoming Tottenham Hotspur’s next permanent manager.

Spurs are in the market for a new long-term head coach after firing Jose Mourinho this week.

Tottenham were seventh in the Premier League at the time of Mourinho’s sacking following what had been a very difficult first full season for the Portuguese in North London.

According to The Times, Red Bull Leipzig boss Nagelsmann – also linked to Bayern Munich – is interested in Daniel Levy’s project with the Lilywhites.

And here’s how some Tottenham fans reacted on Twitter to that report:

Ryan Mason is currently Tottenham boss but only on an interim basis.

The 29-year-old, the youngest man to ever oversee a Premier League game, got his managerial stint off to a flyer on Wednesday in a 2-1 win over Southampton in North London, with second-half goals from Gareth Bale and Son Heung-min doing the damage after Danny Ings opened the scoring.

The victory took Tottenham to sixth in the Premier League table and two points adrift in the race for a top-four finish, but Chelsea, who sit fourth, have a game in hand.
