The Tottenham Hotspur full-back would be an excellent addition for Manchester City.

Tottenham are closing in on the signing of Ryan Sessegnon, according to a report from the Sun, and should they complete a deal for the teenager, Manchester City might just have an opportunity to solve their left-back crisis.

Danny Rose faces an uncertain future in north London, according to the Daily Mail, and he would be perfect for Pep Guardiola’s side.

Manchester City have had real problems in the left-back department, with Benjamin Mendy failing to impress.

Guardiola has experimented with Fabian Delph and Oleksandr Zinchenko at left-back, but neither have really grasped their opportunity, and the 28-year-old Tottenham ace could take them to another level.

Rose is an attacking full-back in every sense, and he would offer City just as much going forward as he would defensively.

The Tottenham man possesses pace in abundance, is strong in the tackle, and has a dangerous delivery that the likes of Sergio Aguero would thrive off. He would also link up really well with either Raheem Sterling or Leroy Sane.

Money is, of course, no object for Manchester City, and should Spurs sign Sessegnon, they would surely be tempted into selling the 26-capped England international to the Cityzens.

Manchester City are already arguably the best Premier League side of all-time, but signing the Tottenham man would solve a real problem position for Pep, and he might just make them unstoppable next season.
