Tottenham Hotspur should consider a move for the AC Milan ace.

Mauricio Pochettino will be determined to bolster his ranks at Tottenham this summer, as he looks to guide his side to their first major trophy since 2008.
One particular area of concern for the Argentine will be his central defensive options, with Toby Alderweirled facing an uncertain future in north London.
With this in mind, Poch should consider a move for AC Milan centre-back Alessio Romagnoli, who has really impressed for the Rossoneri this season.

The 23-year-old began his career with Roma, before signing for Milan in the summer of 2015, and he has gone on to make 108 appearances for the Serie A giants.
Romagnoli is a cultured, ball-playing defender, and would fit perfectly into Pochettino’s philosophy of building out from the back.
Standing at 6ft 2in tall, the Italy international is strong in the air, and whilst he is not the quickest along the ground, he possesses the wonderful ability of being able to read the game, which more than makes up for his lack of pace.

The AC Milan ace would be the ideal defensive partner for Jan Vertonghen as part of a two, or alongside the Belgian and Davinson Sanchez as part of three.
Romagnoli is still under contract with Milan until the summer of 2020, and he is valued at £30.6 million, according to Transfer Markt, which would represent fantastic value in today’s day and age.
If Pochettino does manage to bring the Italian to Tottenham, he could turn out to be a real coup for the club.
