Spurs ready to sell Vincent Janssen but want £25m for the striker.
It looks as if Vincent Janssen’s time as a Tottenham Hotspur player is truly up, with Turkish publication Fanatik reporting AZ Alkmaar, Bayer Leverkusen, Lazio and Sevilla are all interested in the striker.
Janssen has spent the past season on loan in Turkey with Fenerbahce, scoring five goals in 18 appearances in all competitions.
This came after a difficult first year in the Premier League following a 2016 switch from Alkmaar in which the 23-year-old managed just two strikes in 27 league outings.
Now it seems that Spurs are ready to take a new direction without Janssen – who is under contract in North London until 2020 – and will listen to offers.
However, the report claims that Tottenham want £25m for a forward who has just played two fairly mediocre campaigns and cost £17m (BBC) two years ago.
Chairman Daniel Levy is a famed tough negotiator but even for him getting that much for Janssen would be an incredible piece of business.
