Robin Koch has been speaking to Sky Germany about the situation at Leeds, with relegation still a possibility for Jesse Marsch at Elland Road.
As things stand, Leeds are just four points above the relegation zone with 26 points to their name, although Burnley have two games in hand over them.
When speaking about the situation, Koch made an admirable revelation.
What’s the story?
Well, if Leeds are relegated, you would expect the 25-year-old to be one of the first players looking to leave, given his profile.
Koch is a Germany international, having earned eight caps for his country, and Hansi Flick may no longer call him up if he drops into the Championship.
Nevertheless, the £46,154-a-week man isn’t thinking about that.
Koch told Sky Germany: ”We’re not going down. And if so, then I believe that the team will stand together. We agree that we’ll go down together.”

We can’t help but admire that stance.
Some players would be submitting a transfer request as soon as relegation is confirmed, although Koch clearly cares about Leeds, and would take responsibility if they did return to the Championship.
Leeds should treasure Robin Koch
If Leeds went down, the £13m Marcelo Bielsa signing would surely be a man in demand given his international profile for Germany.
Also, at the age of just 25, Koch is still yet to hit his prime, so there’s even more to come from the classy centre-back.

Therefore, the Whites should treasure him while he’s at Elland Road, as he clearly holds Leeds close to his heart.
It takes a leader to stand up and say that the team will stick together even if they go down, speaking volumes about the togetherness at Thorp Arch.
If Leeds can just survive this season, they have a man they can rely on in the inspirational Koch.
