Well, Tottenham Hotspur fans don’t have to worry about losing Harry Kane this summer if one report is true.

Kane got some Spurs fans quite worried prior to the international break when he revealed that he would decide his future at the end of the season.

And considering that was hardly a defiant statement that he was staying in North London, some supporters were concerned.

But Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy has pulled a masterstroke regarding Kane’s future.

According to The Sun, Levy has slapped a £175 million price-tag on the 27-year-old and is refusing to sell to a Premier League rival.

A lot of chairmen and CEOs claim they would never sell to a rival but, in Levy’s case, you genuinely believe it.

But by putting such a huge price-tag on the player, Levy has pretty much assured that nobody will be coming in for Kane during the summer.

Barcelona and Real Madrid, the foreign clubs he has been most linked to, have serious financial worries and even if either club can afford Levy’s asking price, they won’t be paying that while Kylian Mbappe and Erling Haaland are linked away.

The Lilywhites’ chief knows that losing Kane would be detrimental for the North London club but his policy of refusing to sell to an English team, combined with an enormous asking price, means that he won’t be going anywhere.
