Fabrizio Romano has warned that Liverpool-linked Jude Bellingham will carry a ‘really huge price tag’ next summer.
The Reds are reportedly winning the race to sign Bellingham of Borussia Dortmund, according to The Telegraph.
At 19, the former Birmingham City starlet is likely the most exciting young footballer in the global game right now.
And with Liverpool desperately needing a revamp of their midfield options long term, well a transfer to Anfield certainly makes sense.
Bellingham scored another brilliant Champions League in Dortmund’s victory away to Sevilla on Wednesday evening.

And Romano, writing on Twitter, has warned that a massive figure will be needed to prise him away from the Bundesliga outfit.
Liverpool only broke their club record transfer fee during the summer on signing Darwin Nunez.
The Uruguay international joined Jurgen Klopp’s outfit in an £85 million deal.
But if Romano is right, that deal will have to be blown out of the water in a gargantuan way if Liverpool are going to succeed in signing Bellingham.
With a long-term contract – and potentially English tax – the Reds and other suitors could be looking at upwards of £200 million if he continues to impress, with CIES claiming in September that he could be worth £174 million.
But if Bellingham continues to dazzle on a stage like the Champions League, and has a good World Cup with England, that figure will inflate further.
If Liverpool can justifiably finance the deal, whatever happens it’ll make the Nunez one look like small time in comparison.
