Jay Rodriguez tipped to leave West Brom and with Everton needing a striker, could it be the perfect match?

Everton are in the market for a new striker this summer, according to the Daily Star, having struggled for goals throughout the season.
Wayne Rooney is their top-scorer in all competitions with 11 strikes, but is increasingly becoming more of a midfielder for the Toffees.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin is highly rated but is still only 21-years-old, while Cenk Tosun has shown glimpses of what he is capable of following a January transfer from Besiktas.
Who could they go for?
One forward who the Daily Mail are reporting will be available to sign at the end of this season is Jay Rodriguez, who looks set to leave West Bromwich Albion if they are relegated from the Premier League.

The Baggies are currently bottom of the table and ten points from safety with only five matches left to play and look destined to be in the Championship for the 2018/19 campaign.
Despite their struggles Rodriguez has shown decent form for West Brom following a summer switch from Southampton with 10 goals in 37 games and with the 28-year-old looking increasingly comfortable as a number nine, perhaps the Merseysiders should take a closer look.
