Javi Gracia’s Watford will look to continue their good work in the Premier League next season but they will have to address a few issues before.

The 28-year-old Argentine has been a key part of Javi Gracia’s side this season having scored six goals in the Premier League. Naturally an attacking midfielder, Pereyra has mainly been used on the left flank where he has surprisingly excelled.
However, losing Pereyra will be a huge blow to the Hornets who, despite falling off in the last few games, had a very impressive campaign in the league as well as in the FA Cup. Gracia will need to find a replacement for the Argentine if he leaves but he doesn’t necessarily have to go out on the transfer market to look for one.
Out of the nine players who Watford have sent out on loan, one has really caught the eye in Spain. 20-year-old Colombian Cucho Hernandez has been a star for Huesca since joining them on loan back in the summer of 2017.
Cucho has only scored four goals this season but two of those have come against Real Madrid and Barcelona. The youngster has mainly played up front but his pace and ability to dribble past players with ease makes him a perfect winger.

In his first season with Huesca, Cucho scored a stunning 16 goals which played a key role in helping the club achieve promotion to the top-flight. Cucho’s loan deal with the club expires this summer and he will return to Vicarage Road before the start of next campaign.
Javi Gracia should hold onto Cucho in the summer irrespective of what happens with Roberto Pereyra and Torino. The Colombian is fresh off a hat-trick against Tahiti in the under-20 World Cup and he will be high on confidence when he returns to Watford next season.
