Rangers have been linked with a move for Crystal Palace midfielder James McArthur.

Crystal Palace midfielder James McArthur is reportedly just one name on a long list of Rangers’ summer targets and would certainly prove a major coup should the Gers lure him to Ibrox, but where does that leave Ryan Jack’s future?
McArthur, 30, is out of contract at Selhurst Park at the end of the season and the Daily Mail claim Rangers are keeping tabs on the former Hamilton midfielder ahead of a potential switch north of the border.
The Scotland international is renowned for his box-to-box, combative style of play that mirrors the exact same traits as current Rangers midfielder Jack.

Former Aberdeen midfielder Jack, who moved to Ibrox in the summer from Aberdeen, has been sidelined since December with a knee injury and has fallen down the pecking order.
Manager Graeme Murty brought in Sean Goss and Greg Docherty, while recalling Andy Halliday from his loan in Azerbaijan and his spell on the sidelines has seen the trio thrive in his absence.
With the added addition of 32-time Scotland international McArthur, Jack faces a battle on his hands in regards to his future at Ibrox despite only joining the club less than a year ago.

Rangers boast plenty of options in midfield, with Graham Dorrans, Jason Holt, Jordan Rossiter and even youngster Jamie Barjonas vying for a place in the first team.
Surely then, 26-year-old Jack faces a fight to return to the side and indeed his Rangers future with the summer transfer window just around the corner.
