Out-of-favour Rangers defender Fabio Cardoso is said to be interesting Liga Nos side Estoril.

Out-of-favour Rangers defender Fabio Cardoso is reportedly interesting Portuguese side Estoril and if Graeme Murty’s side decide to sell the centre-back, his side could be left on the short of options at the heart of defence.
Portuguese outlet A Bola claim, via the Daily Record, that the 23-year-old summer signing is on a shortlist of players the Liga Nos side are considering, after losing Thiago Cardoso and Goncalo Brandao to injury.
The Gers have the likes of Bruno Alves, Danny Wilson and David Bates available to them at centre-back, with teenage star Ross McCrorie now preferred in holding midfield since Murty switched to a diamond formation.

However, with both Bates and Wilson in the final year of their contract, surely Murty must hand a new deal to the latter in order to prevent his side from going thin at centre-back?
Former Liverpool defender Wilson has thrived under the guidance of the 43-year-old interim manager, forming a partnership with Euro 2016 winner Alves to help Murty win six of his nine games in charge.
Under Murty, Wilson has featured in all of the interim manager’s games in charge and has even found the back of the net on two occasions from defence, scoring in the wins against Aberdeen and Ross County.

His form has propelled since the sacking of Pedro Caixinha, but the 25-year-old’s future remains in doubt with less than six months remaining on a contract that expires on May 31.
Selling Cardoso must make Rangers take action by handing former Hearts stopper Wilson a new deal, as he continues to shine in the Light Blues’ starting line-up.
