Arthur Melo to Arsenal could be back on this summer.
Arsenal spent a chunk of the January transfer window trying to sign the Juventus midfielder and ultimately failed.
Edu had agreed personal terms with the Brazil international but higher-ups at the Emirates Stadium vetoed the motion to get him, according to The Athletic.
However, it may be becoming a thing again.
That’s because TMW reported in May that Arsenal were still interested in signing Arthur Melo, who cost the Italian outfit £61 million.

And if a tweet from Fabrizio Romano is right, the Gunners should be encouraged by their chances.
According to the Italian journalist, Juventus are ‘more than confident’ about signing Paul Pogba this summer.
And if the France international returns to Turin, then that might just open the door for Arsenal to finally get their man.
Pogba and Arthur Melo are similiar types of midfield player and Juve wouldn’t be bringing Pogba back to Italy if they had any plan on keeping the former Barcelona man beyond the summer.
Of course, Arsenal aren’t guaranteed to get Arthur Melo, even if Pogba does return.
That’s because Monaco are reportedly also in the reckoning now [Calciomercato] but given how Edu wanted him badly during the winter transfer window, well that might bode well for repeat attempts this summer.
