According to 90Min, Arne Slot is one name on Leeds’ shortlist as they continue their search for a new first-team manager.
Slot being linked with the job should excite Leeds fans, as he’s a coach who has proven his ability to produce results and improve his teams, working particularly well with young attacking players.
He turned Luis Sinisterra into one of Europe’s standout wingers, while Javairo Dilrosun is performing well as his replacement.
Another of the standout players from Slot’s time at Feyenoord was Reiss Nelson, The Arsenal winger had a successful loan spell at the Dutch club.

Nelson is a player who has caught the eye of Leeds and Victor Orta in the past, and he could well be the perfect player to bring to Elland Road if Slot were to be hired as the new manager.
The prospect of pairing Slot with Nelson is exciting. The two have already worked together in the past, while Nelson will surely be keen to leave Arsenal in search of more first-team football in the near future.
Nelson is a young and dynamic player who looks to have a bright future ahead of him. He showed earlier this season with a brace against Nottingham Forest that he can do it at this level, and he’s someone who would fit in well with Slot’s style of play. He’s comfortable playing on either wing, while his pace, dribbling ability and eye for goal would be a great asset for Slot’s Leeds.
It’s too soon to say whether or not Slot will be appointed as the new manager of Leeds United, but if he is appointed as Jesse Marsch’s replacement, don’t be too shocked if a summer move for Nelson materialises.
Keep an eye on this as a potential transfer for the summer if Slot is hired.
