Liverpool have been linked with Markus Krosche as their potential new sporting director, and if they do indeed make this move, they could consider targeting Jesper Lindstrom. The Danish attacking midfielder has been a standout performer at Eintracht Frankfurt this season, and he could be an excellent addition to Liverpool’s squad.

Krosche, of course, will know Lindstrom well from their current spell together at Frankfurt, and it’s not hard to imagine that the 22-year-old will be high on his list of potential targets if he comes to Anfield.

Lindstrom has been in superb form this season, scoring seven goals and providing two assists in just 18 starts in the Bundesliga. He has impressed with his pace, dribbling skills, and clinical finishing, and at just 22 years of age, he has the potential to develop into a top-class player.

If Krosche does move to Liverpool, he will be well aware of Lindstrom’s qualities and could recommend him as a potential signing.

Liverpool have a strong attacking unit already, but they could benefit from more depth and competition in the squad, especially if Roberto Firmino leaves in the summer.

At the age of 22, Lindstrom could also be another long-term attacking option.

While he likes to go forward, Lindstrom could be an ideal addition to Liverpool’s midfield, providing a different dynamic to the likes of Fabinho, Jordan Henderson, and Thiago Alcantara.

Yes, we’ve always known Jurgen Klopp to work with a flat midfield three, but after the disaster of this season, perhaps he needs to change his formation to accommodate a number 10 like Lindstrom.

He is a player who loves to run with the ball and create chances for his teammates, and his speed and energy could be a real asset to Liverpool’s counter-attacking game.

Of course, signing Lindstrom would not come cheap, and Liverpool would need to be willing to pay a significant transfer fee to secure his services. However, with FSG looking for investment, they should have the capital to do such a deal this summer.

if Liverpool do indeed hire Markus Krosche as their new sporting director, this could be one to watch.
