The core of Leeds United squad has looked frail at times this season.

If Leeds United could snap up Keiren Westwood, Kyle Bartley and Oliver McBurnie this summer, then the core of their squad would look far stronger than it currently does.
Leeds have gaps right across their squad, but Paul Heckingbottom appears willing to address the issues.
And if they can complete the triple swoop, they may have the additions they need to replace the players they let go at the start of last season.

Leeds allowed Rob Green to depart, didn’t snap up Bartley after his loan spell, and lost Chris Wood to Burnley.
The Whites attempted to bring in replacements for the trio, but they failed.
Felix Weidwald has been error prone, Leeds have failed to find a partner for Pontus Jansson, and Kemar Roofe is their top goalscorer this season.

It leaves the Whites’ squad in serious need of renovation, but the additions of Westwood, Bartley and McBurnie would improve them significantly.
Westwood is a reliable stopper at Championship level, Bartley is a wonderfully talented centre-back, and McBurnie looks to have the potential to be a prolific scorer.
And if Leeds can complete the triple swoop then Heckingbottom’s options will look much stronger for next term.
