Some Celtic fans have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to speculation that the club are planning to offload Boli Bolingoli-Mbombo.
According to Sky Sports, Celtic are planning to let Bolingoli-Mbombo go in the summer transfer window after the left-back broke quarantine rules.
The report added of interest in the 25-year-old Belgian – who can also operate as a left-sided midfielder – from Amiens SC.
The Belgian switched to Celtic from Rapid Vienna in the summer of 2019 for a transfer fee reported by The Scottish Sun to be worth £3 million.
According to Transfermarkt.co.uk, the former Club Brugge man provided two assists in 14 Scottish Premiership matches and provided one assist in four Europa League games for Neil Lennon’s side during the 2019-20 campaign.
Bolingoli-Mbombo did not have a great campaign on a personal level in 2019-20, and if Celtic are able to find a suitable replacement, then letting him leave on loan or selling him this summer would not be a bad move.
Some Celtic fans have given their take on speculation regarding Bolingoli-Mbombo, and below are some of the best comments on Twitter.
