Injury prone Ibrox ace Jordan Rossiter was left out of Rangers U23 match against Manchester United.

Rangers midfielder Jordan Rossiter was left out of the Gers under-23 clash against Manchester United on Wednesday afternoon as he continues to step up his recovery from injury.
Fans are confident that now means the 20-year-old is fit and ready for selection against Hamilton on Sunday afternoon, as the Gers look to build on their wins against Partick and Ayr with a third successive victory.
But if Murty is able to pick the former Liverpool ace, should he? The Gers have an abundance of central midfielders following the January signing of Greg Docherty and recall of Andy Halliday from Azerbaijani side FK Gabala.

There is no doubt that Rossiter bestows the kind of technique and determination that will see him adored by Rangers fans, but Murty will find it difficult to drop any of his midfielders.
The 43-year-old manager is likely to return to a 4-2-3-1 system after using a 4-4-2 formation that included Alfredo Morelos and Jason Cummings up front. But in what is a tougher test against Hamilton, a three-man midfield is required.
That will see Josh Windass play behind the striker in the number 10 role, leaving only two places available for central midfielders in the starting line-up. Last time in the league, Jason Holt and Sean Goss starred.

Goss, on loan from QPR then produced four assists against Ayr, while Holt has captained the side. If Murty is to drop either of the tow midfielders, it is likely to be the latter.
However, former Hamilton ace Greg Docherty was impressive in his first start for the Gers since his January move to Ibrox, and he could be considered as could Halliday. Graham Dorrans and Ryan Jack remain injured.
It is perhaps too soon for Rossiter to start, not because of his fitness but because the form of Goss and Docherty is likely to see them start instead. A place on the bench is much more likely for the England youth international.
