Former Tottenham Hotspur chairman Lord Sugar has given his reaction on Twitter to the win for Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal against Eddie Howe’s Newcastle United at St. James’ Park, saying that the Gunners were lucky and also made a point about Spurs.
Lord Sugar has said that Arsenal got away with the controversial penalty call for Newcastle.
The former Spurs chairman has also noted how Newcastle hit the frame of the Arsenal goal.
Lord Sugar believes that if it were Tottenham, then his former team would have the penalty decision go against them.
Arsenal have got the better of Newcastle 2-0 away from home at St. James’ Park in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon.
Norway international attacking midfielder Martin Odegaard put Arsenal in the lead in the 14th minute.
An own goal form Fabian Schar on 71 minutes saw the Gunners make it 2-0.

Odegaard’s opening goal of the match came just moments after Newcastle had a penalty decision going against them.
A well-worked corner from Newcastle resulted in Bruno Guimaraes’s shot hitting Jakub Kiwior’s arm inside the penalty area.
However, after a lengthy VAR check, the decision was overturned after replays showed that the ball had struck the Arsenal defender’s thigh before hitting his arm.
