Speaking on his YouTube channel, Rio Ferdinand has been speaking about Jack Grealish, claiming that he’d improve every single team in the Premier League, including Liverpool.

Grealish has been linked with almost every top Premier League club at this point, and Ferdinand believes that’s because he has the ability to make every single team in the division better, including Jurgen Klopp’s outfit.

What’s been said?

Ferdinand was speaking about Grealish as speculation about his future began to amp up, and he says that the Aston Villa man would make every Premier League team better.

“Does he improve every team in the Premier League? Yes he does, that’s it, end of argument. He improves every team, if I’m Liverpool I’d go and get him, if I’m Man City I’m going to take him, he improves Chelsea, he improves Chelsea 100%,” Ferdinand said.

Would he make Liverpool better?

Look, we all know how good Grealish is. He’s undoubtedly one of the most talented players in the country, but would he make Liverpool better?

Well, it’s hard to really see where he fits in. He plays a completely different role to Sadio Mane down the left, and while he can play in the midfield, he’s nowhere near industrious enough to take the place of any of Jurgen Klopp’s warriors in the middle of the park.

Perhaps the best spot for him at Anfield would be in place of Roberto Firmino as a false nine, but even then, you have to cast doubts upon his finishing abilities.

Grealish would improve most teams in world football, but perhaps it would be the most interesting to see how he’d fit in at Liverpool.
