Speaking on the Seaman Says Podcast, David Seaman has been previewing this weekend’s north London derby.

Arsenal host Spurs at the Emirates on Saturday afternoon in a game that could be huge in the race for the top four and even the race for the title.

This should be an incredibly tight affair. Arsenal currently top the table in the Premier League, while Spurs remain one of two unbeaten teams in the division this season.

We certainly don’t envy anyone trying to predict the outcome of this match, but that’s exactly what Seaman has tried to do.

Seaman’s prediction

The former goalkeeper predicted a narrow win for the Gunners.

“It is the fixture you look for when they come out. This is a massive game, a massive game for the fans because they go into work the next day and they need the bragging rights. I can’t see goals if I’m honest, I think it will be really tight. Spurs have been going under the radar I feel, they’ve played decent, getting results, ticking along nicely, but I want to say the famous result, 1-0 to the Arsenal or 2-1 to Arsenal, so I’m going to go with 1-0 Arsenal,” Seaman said.

Slight edge

We have to agree with Seaman here and admit that Arsenal may have a slight edge going into this game.

The Gunners’ squad will be less fatigued from the international break as a number of their key players didn’t feature as heavily as their Spurs counterparts, while the advantage of this game being held at the Emirates should also be a factor.

It’s impossible to call which way this game will go, but we can understand why any pundit would feel that Arsenal may just about get over the line here.
