Newcastle United supporters have reacted to the news that Heung-Min Son is available for Tottenham today.
The 28-year-old missed Tottenham’s win against Aston Villa last time out, but Jose Mourinho has told Football London that Son ‘will be selected’.
It’s great news for Tottenham fans, of course, because their £22 million superstar (Mirror) is back in time for the last gruelling run, but not for the Newcastle faithful.
But in truth, some Newcastle supporters feel it doesn’t make too much of a difference given where they are compared to the North London club.
Given how Steve Bruce’s side have performed this season, Mourinho could, if he wished, rest Son for an extra week.
Or even ease him into today’s game and bring him on from the bench.
That perhaps says a lot about where Newcastle are compared to Spurs because things aren’t rosy in the St James’ Park garden.
