Rio Ferdinand has told UMM that he cannot see Aston Villa’s Jack Grealish at Manchester United.
Grealish has been linked with United heavily in recent season and he continues to impress in a Villa shirt.
If he was to become available, it seems likely that the Red Devils would be interested.
However, Ferdinand can’t actually see United forcing through a deal for the Villa captain.
“I don’t even think it’s Fernandes who is the problem,” he said.
“You have got Rashford and Pogba who can play on the left, where Jack plays.
“Jack’s best position is on the left and his next best would be number 10. They are the positions where our most influential attacking players are.
“It’s difficult to see him at Man United right now. If he leaves Aston Villa I just don’t think United, unless they ship one or two of those boys away, I see it being a difficult deal to be done for Manchester United.”
City the favourites

It does seem that United aren’t the favourites to sign Grealish if he does leave Villa.
Manchester City are pushing hard to land the England international right now, as the Athletic report.
It is far from a forgone conclusion that Grealish will leave Villa though.
The creator has consistently been linked with a move away from Villa Park, but the claret and blues have fought hard to keep hold of their star man.
And with Dean Smith’s side progressing well last term, they are under little pressure financially to sell this summer.
