Speaking on his Twitch channel, Fabrice Muamba has been discussing West Ham’s Jarrod Bowen and his recent links to Liverpool.
The winger is reportedly on the Reds’ radar, and after his incredible performance against Chelsea at the weekend, Liverpool fans were calling for the club to sign the winger.
However, while fans may be keen to see him sign, Muamba doesn’t think that Bowen would want to join the Anfield outfit claiming that he wouldn’t be the first-choice if he moved to Merseyside.
What’s been said about Bowen?
Muamba spoke about Bowen and his links to the Reds.
“The question is, if he goes to Liverpool, where does he fit into that Liverpool squad? Where does he fit into the front three? They have a certain way, they have Firmino on the bench right now, Jota has taken his position. You have Salah and Mane up top, so does he want to leave West Ham to be a second, third or fourth choice striker at Liverpool? I’m not sure,” Muamba said.

Why leave now?
Muamba is absolutely right about Bowen and his current situation.
Why would Bowen swap West Ham for Liverpool right now? He’s in the form of his life, and he’s playing every week in a team that is thriving.
Yes, Liverpool could offer him guaranteed Champions League football and a great chance of silverware, but, as Muamba says, he wouldn’t be first-choice.
In our view, Bowen would be much better off honing his craft with West Ham for a few more years, and then, perhaps once Mane and Salah are past their peak, he can think about moving on to one of the Premier League title contenders
