Kylian Mbappe was linked with a move to Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool as well as to Carlo Ancelotti’s Real Madrid in the summer transfer window.
Mbappe has publicly said that he turned down an offer from Real Madrid to extend his stay at Paris Saint-Germain.
The France international striker also told The Telegraph this month that he held talks with Liverpool over a summer transfer, and that mother “loves” the Premier League club.
Liverpool and Real Madrid contested the UEFA Champions League final on Saturday evening, and you wonder what Mbappe was thinking.
PSG suffered a shock collapse to Madrid in the knockout rounds of the Champions League this season.
Madrid beat Liverpool last night.

Aston Villa manager and Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard was working as a pundit for BT Sports for the UEFA Champions League final last night, and he gave his thoughts on Mbappe’s decision to stay at PSG.
Gerrard said about Mbappe on BT Sports, as transcribed by The Express: “He is definitely thinking he is a little bit richer for sure! But from a football decision,
“I do think in his quiet moment tonight if he has watched that game, he will think to himself ‘I have just turned down the chance to join a club that has won 14 European Cups’, and they are going to be back because they recruit top players.
“They have got the know-how, they have got the demand to win it, they are going to win more.”
The Liverpool legend added: “They have got the pull haven’t they, they have got the pull worldwide they are a giant in the game.
“They have got the pull where recruitment-wise, if a club like Real Madrid come along for you, 99 times out of 100 you go.”
Future move for Kylian Mbappe to Liverpool or Real Madrid?
In our view, Liverpool or Real Madrid could sign Kylian Mbappe in the future.
The Frenchman’s current contract at PSG is until the summer of 2025.
Now, if PSG are unable to win the Champions League in the next three years, then Mbappe could be tempted to leave.
Liverpool and Madrid are two of the biggest clubs in the world and regularly win major trophies.
