Speaking on his YouTube channel, Ben Foster has been discussing Leandro Trossard after his remarkable hat-trick against Liverpool at the weekend.

Trossard turned in what was arguably a career-best performance against the Reds on Saturday, becoming only the third player in Premier League history to score a hat-trick against Liverpool away from home.

Inevitably, this performance has sparked all sorts of transfer speculation around Trossard.

Arsenal have been linked as of late, but according to Foster, more clubs will be sniffing around Trossard if he keeps up this level of form.

Trossard a wanted man

Foster gave his view of Trossard.

“He is a very good player Trossard, he’s 27 years old by the way. If he carries this sort of form on, five goals for the season. If he carries this on there will be teams sniffing around him. Leandro Trossard, you’re the man, the Champ of the Week,” Foster said.

Won’t be long before he moves

Unfortunately for Brighton, a team of their size doesn’t get to keep hold of a player like Trossard for too long.

The Belgian has been quietly brilliant for quite some time now, but this season he’s entered another gear, and now, he’s going to be a wanted man.

Arsenal are keen, while Graham Potter being the new Chelsea manager may also be something Brighton need to worry about. After all, Potter knows Trossard quite well from his time at the Amex.

Whether it’s Arsenal, Chelsea or another European club, Trossard is seemingly destined to play at a higher level, and he will certainly be a player to keep an eye on once the January transfer window rolls around.
