Slavisa Jokanovic has masterminded a complete turnaround at Craven Cottage, with the club looking top drawer.

Fans of Fulham will be feeling doubly blessed after the last few days, which has seen the Whites defeat Bristol City 2-0 – their third straight league victory – and tie down manager Slavisa Jokanovic to a new deal.

Fulham currently sit in seventh in the table, six points behind sixth placed Sheffield Wednesday, but with a game in hand, and have wowed both Fulham fans and neutrals this season with their football.

The style of football Jokanovic has instilled at Craven Cottage is breathtaking to watch, with Fulham creating chances galore in every match they play in, and treating the ball in a way a top Premier League side would.

What lets them down is a lack of a ruthless finisher in the side. As brilliantly talented as midfielder Tom Cairney is, he can’t do it alone, and if Fulham had a Jordan Rhodes type goalscorer in their side, they’d be much higher.

The season is far from over though, and with several play-off rivals still to play, Fulham have more than an outside chance of gatecrashing the top six.

If they don’t do it this year however, next season with Jokanovic at the helm, Fulham could well push for automatic promotion.
