Belgium international Adnan Januzaj is set to depart Old Trafford in the summer for pastures new.

After yet another inspirational display from Crystal Palace’s Wilfried Zaha in their incredible 3-0 Premier League win over Arsenal, rumours came thick and fast about the Ivory Coast international’s future.
Tottenham Hotspur, Chelsea and Arsenal are all chasing the 24-year-old according to The Guardian, and Manchester City have now joined the chasing pack according to The Sun, meaning a big money summer departure is very likely.
If such an eventuality takes place, Palace boss Sam Allardyce could do a lot worse than sign another winger from Manchester United – as Palace did with Zaha, re-signing him from Old Trafford in 2014 on loan before making it permanent in 2015 – in the shape of Adnan Januzaj.
The 22-year-old Belgium international isn’t having the best of times on loan at Sunderland at present, but seeing as United are willing to sell him, according to the Daily Mail, Palace could do a lot worse than sign him as a replacement.

Januzaj was ahead of Zaha in the pecking order at Old Trafford when the two were on the same team in the 2013/14 season, with Januzaj making 27 league appearances, netting four goals, compared to Zaha’s meagre two outings for United, but since then, Zaha has kicked on while Januzaj’s career has stalled.
Selhurst Park could be the ideal place for Januzaj to resurrect his career in a similar fashion to Zaha, and would probably cost a fraction of Zaha’s transfer fee, should he depart. As is the way with football, it’s all ifs, buts and maybes, but the Belgium international could represent great business for Palace.
